The Food Bank of South Jersey (FBSJ) has announced their launch of the 2nd annual Young Philanthropists Network (YPN) program designed to connect business professionals under age 40 to the non-profit organization’s mission of alleviating food insecurity.
The YPN program gives rising executives from diverse business sectors the opportunity to fundraise and advocate for FBSJ’s overall strategic missions by asking each member to conduct fundraising and participate in special service projects to benefit FBSJ’s award-winning Summer Meals Program, projected to feed 8,000 low-income children this year. Through the program, members will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in their local community while also establishing valuable relationships with accomplished business executives serving on FBSJ’s Board of Trustees.
The 2017 YPN Program will kick off at the 2017 Annual Partner Meeting on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at Bethel Church in Blackwood, NJ.
