Looking for your feel-good moment of the day? The Food Bank of South Jersey is feeling all the feels with a recent video that was submitted to us by a few of our younger fundraisers!
Susan Polk of Mullica Township represented the young philanthropists, her grandson, and friend, by working with our team to host a Just Peachy fundraiser to support FBSJ’s hunger-relief fighting programs and her very own sustainable school project: the Mullica Township Schoolyard Garden. To spread awareness, the team pulled together a creative ad to post on social media! Learn more about their unique fundraising efforts and watch the video below.

Sustainable Mullica and the Food Bank of South Jersey joined together to raise funds, help others and grow together. We were able to sell 10 cases of Just Peachy Salsa in 10 days just through Facebook and word of mouth. Everyone raved about this delicious product and many asked for more. We will be using the money we made to continue our work at the Mullica Township Schoolyard Garden. We recently purchased a whiteboard, weather station and garden books. We will be planting garlic, harvesting peanuts and making yummy treats this fall with our greens that were planted in August. We look forward to working with the Food Bank of South Jersey again next year!
