Medical, Dental and Vision
Food Bank of South Jersey provides medical and dental coverage to full-time and part-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week (on a consistent basis) and a partial allowance for their dependents effective after 90 days of employment.
Food Bank of South Jersey provides, at no cost, life insurance equal to one times your annual salary.
Domestic Partner Insurance
Food Bank of South Jersey offers same sex domestic partner benefits.
Employer Paid Long-Term Disability
Long-term disability coverage provided at no cost to eligible employees. The benefit pays 60% of base salary (up to $5,000 per month) should an employee become totally disabled for more than 180 days.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Spending accounts will offer you a way to reimburse yourself for certain health care, dependent care, transportation or parking expenses with tax-free money from your paycheck. The result is that you save money.
For eligible employees, participation in the 401(k) plan begins on your date of service. Food Bank of South Jersey contributes a total of 3% of your salary. We automatically contribute 3% of your annual salary, even if you do not make contributions to the plan.

Food Bank of South Jersey believes that employee volunteerism is an increasingly important vehicle for achieving individual, community and corporate goals. Therefore, Food Bank of South Jersey will sponsor a number of programs to support community involvement by employees.
This program helps supplement primary health plans by providing direct-to-the-policyholder cash benefits, unless the insured chooses otherwise, to help fill gaps in traditional health insurance coverage, such as deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses and loss of earning power, among others.
