Journey with us in our 35th Year!
In 2020, the Food Bank of South Jersey is celebrating 35 Years of Feeding South Jersey.
Since our humble volunteer beginnings in a small warehouse in the City of Camden in 1985, when our first year saw 170,000 pounds of food distributed by a tiny team of committed and caring people, to our expansive Pennsauken facility in 2020 readying to distribute more than 15 million pounds of food this year – 55 employees, more than 150 partner agencies and over 7,000 volunteers strong.
Right now, there are 1 in 9 adults and 1 in 8 children in South Jersey who are hungry. Together, we can make a difference.
As 2020 comes into focus, the Food Bank of South Jersey stands strong, with a clear and galvanized vision of deepening, strengthening and expanding our role as South Jersey’s leading hunger relief organization. We are deepening, strengthening and expanding our role as South Jersey’s leading hunger relief organization.
