HOW CAN KIDS HELP?

Everyone has the power to make a difference.

Children 8-15 can volunteer when accompanied by an adult. Age 15 and up may volunteer on their own. Volunteers under age 18 can do packing, sorting, and stocking.

A great way youth groups, scout troops, schools, and day care centers can help other kids is to hold a food drive on behalf of our Kidzpack program. In Kidzpack, every week during the school year we pack a weekend’s worth of food in backpacks which we then distribute to schools on Fridays to children in need, so they have food to eat for the weekend. To organize a Kidzpack food drive, contact our Food Drive Coordinator at 856 662-4884.

Our youngest supporters can help those in need in other creative ways. They can hold benefit birthday parties, penny drives, lemonade stands, and grocery store collections. They can talk to adults about their concern for children at risk of hunger. Most importantly, they can inspire and encourage action in people of all ages.
