SUMMARY:A Matter of Balance
DESCRIPTION:The Food Bank of South Jersey is hosting the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services for an eight-week A Matter of Balance program\, which emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. \nParticipants learn to: \n\nView falls and fear of falling as controllable\nSet realistic goals for increasing activity\nChange their environment to reduce fall risk factors\nPromote exercise to increase strength and balance\n\nSIGN UP HERE\nClass starts on 2/5 and will run every Thursday for 8 weeks with the last class being on 4/2.  Parking is available in the lot in front of the building and staff will be in the parking lot to escort you into the building. \nTransportation is also available via a Pennsauken Industrial Park Shuttle that picks up passengers at the Riverline Pennsauken Park & Ride station.  Pick-up times are scheduled to coincide with the train times.
