You’re invited to a one-time Grow It, Try It, Like It lesson designed for young children and their parents or caregivers. This interactive session helps children explore where food comes from and how it grows, while encouraging them to taste and learn together.

Please wear comfortable clothes as the class will involve hands-on practice of CPR, AED use, and First Aid skills.  Skills practice will require kneeling on the floor and getting back into a chair.  Accommodations will be offered for those who may find kneeling difficult and need to practice on a higher surface. Restrooms will be available and refreshments, including snacks and water will be provided.

The Food Bank of South Jersey is hosting the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Food Protection Manager Training at our Center for Health Wellness and Nutrition Thursday, June 25 – Friday, June 26, 2026.  It will take place over two half days with an opportunity to take the exam at the end.  The class, book, and exam materials are FREE of charge.  A workbook for the program will be mailed to you after you have registered.
