Help Us Bridge the SNAP Gap
As of November 1, SNAP benefits have stopped for more than 130,000 South Jersey residents and it’s unclear when they’ll return. SNAP is a lifeline for children, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and working families in South Jersey. Without it, these neighbors are facing hunger.
Since the start of the year, the Food Bank of South Jersey has been serving 200,000 neighbors each month. Now, with this surge in requests for food assistance, our resources are being stretched thin. We need your continued support to help bridge the gap left by SNAP.
Your immediate gift will fuel emergency distributions across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem counties to meet the need.
Other Ways to Help:
- Donate food items: Non-perishables like canned vegetables, pasta, rice, protein items, and baby formula are in high demand
- Donate your time: Volunteer at your local food pantry or community kitchen
- Organize small food drives: Schools, offices, or neighborhood groups can collect essentials
- Fundraise locally: Crowdfunding or virtual food drives can help food banks buy fresh food
