A Matter of Balance

The Food Bank of South Jersey is hosting the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services for an eight-week A Matter of Balance program, which emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.
Participants learn to:
- View falls and fear of falling as controllable
- Set realistic goals for increasing activity
- Change their environment to reduce fall risk factors
- Promote exercise to increase strength and balance

Class starts on 2/5 and will run every Thursday for 8 weeks with the last class being on 4/2. Parking is available in the lot in front of the building and staff will be in the parking lot to escort you into the building.
Transportation is also available via a Pennsauken Industrial Park Shuttle that picks up passengers at the Riverline Pennsauken Park & Ride station. Pick-up times are scheduled to coincide with the train times. Click here for more information.
