A Journey of Gratitude

 

My journey with FBSJ is one of gratitude. I am grateful for the inspiration the team provides with their unwavering commitment and impact.

 

For Phil, being of South Jersey means something simple yet powerful: lifting up neighbors.

As Treasurer of the Food Bank of South Jersey’s Board of Trustees, and Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Banking for Bank of America, Phil brings more than leadership, he brings heart. His connection to the Food Bank is deeply rooted in gratitude.

“My journey with FBSJ is one of gratitude,” Phil shares. “I am grateful for the education on the true need around food insecurity in our community. I am grateful for the relationships with staff and fellow Board members. I am grateful for the inspiration the team provides with their unwavering commitment and impact.”

Since joining the Board six years ago, Phil has witnessed the organization grow and evolve. But one thing has remained constant: the dedication of the people behind the mission.

“Serving the community at FBSJ and witnessing the evolution of the organization over the last six years has been remarkable,” he says. “The staff and management team are inspiring with their relentless energy and commitment to those in need.”

Whether supporting strategic decisions in the boardroom or volunteering at events, Phil’s dedication to South Jersey shines through. His perspective is a reminder that gratitude and service go hand in hand, and that lasting impact comes from lifting up one another, neighbor to neighbor.
