Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables (Adult)

The Healthy Pantry Initiative program is funded through SNAP-Ed and includes delivery of the Just Say Yes curriculum, along with healthy food marketing and distribution. Just Say Yes is an educational program designed to promote increased consumption of fruits and vegetables to support obesity prevention and to reduce the risk of long-term chronic disease. Using nutrition education workshops, food demonstrations, and promotion of healthy food pantry best practices, Just Say Yes works to ensure the community can access nutritious foods, make food budgets, increase physical activity, and drink healthier beverages.

Prevent T2 (Adult – Type 2 diabetes prevention program)

FREE Prevent T2 year-long lifestyle change program designed for people with prediabetes and those who are at high risk for type 2 diabetes and want to lower their risk.

Cooking Matters at Home (Adult)

Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters® at Home program is a series of four nutrition education classes for parents and children. Participants learn about the USDA’s MyPlate dietary guidelines and how to use them for healthy eating through interactive activities and hands-on cooking. Participants prepare food in class and are given ingredients to replicate recipes at home.

Virtual administration of this course provides four Zoom sessions over the course of four weeks, where grocery store gift cards are provided as an incentive. This course is specifically designed for virtual administration only.
