SNJ Today – A South Jersey food bank is aiming to tackle hunger by getting area residents to share their “Souper Bowl” celebrations on social media, and someone could also score some Lady Gaga tickets, too.

The Food Bank of South Jersey has announced their Super Bowl-inspired initiative to tackle hunger by encouraging individuals to host a “Souper Bowl” party with a food drive or fundraiser to benefit the food bank. Participants can submit their “Souper Bowl” party picture or video using the hashtag #Kickoffforkindness through the Born This Way Foundation for a chance for tickets to an upcoming Lady Gaga show.

Party hosts must register by midnight on Tuesday, February 7th. Additionally, the food bank has decided to join in on the kindness and gift one “Souper Bowl” party host with a $50 gift card as well.

To enter, snap a photo or share a video of their party to the Food Bank of South Jersey’s social media sites and tag @FoodBankSJ and also use the hashtag #Tacklehunger.

In 2016, the food bank was able to collect and distribute over 11-million pounds of food to communities in Camden, Gloucester, Salem, and Burlington counties.
