Host a Team Food Drive

South Jersey needs us now more than ever.

There is power in a community united! Food drives continue to be vital to our mission in feeding South Jersey. More than 23 million pounds of food – the equivalent of more than 19.5 million meals — were distributed throughout South Jersey in 2024 alone.

None of this would have been possible without teams, corporate partners, and community groups coming together to feed South Jersey through FOOD DRIVES.

The impact of a food drive can go even further virtually. Hosting a virtual food drive reaches more people to help more people right from a phone, tablet, or computer.

Traditional Food Drive

Host a traditional food drive by collecting non-perishable food items and then schedule a time to drop-off at the Food Bank of South Jersey.

To get started, please email fooddrive@foodbanksj.org with the name of your food drive, dates your food drive will be hosted, and any questions or concerns about hosting a food drive that will benefit the Food Bank of South Jersey.

Virtual Food Drives

What is a Virtual Food Drive?

Unlike a traditional food drive, a Virtual Food Drive is completely organized through online efforts. VFDs allow you to raise funds to support the purchase of food and eliminates the hassle of collecting, lifting, and dropping off physical food items to the Food Bank of South Jersey.
